About the Internship
Mace Corporate Associates is inviting applications for the position of Legal Intern (IP Team). This is an on-site, paid internship offering hands-on exposure to intellectual property law and related regulatory work.
Eligibility Criteria
- Final-year law students or recent law graduates
- Strong interest in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) laws
- In-depth knowledge of trademark searches and drafting of trademark opinions
- Working knowledge of trademark filing, prosecution, oppositions, and renewals
- Ability to draft and handle both contentious and non-contentious IP documents and correspondence, including:
- Replies to Examination Reports
- Notices of Opposition
- Counter Statements
- Cancellation and rectification petitions
- Evidence affidavits
- Experience in drafting legal notices and replies
- Familiarity with e-legal portals is mandatory
- Knowledge of AI applications will be an added advantage
