About the Organization
Hikmat Helping Hands Foundation (HHHF) is a Section 8 not-for-profit grassroots NGO committed to empowering marginalised communities across India. The organisation works through legal aid initiatives, rights-awareness programmes, education support, and poverty alleviation efforts. Its activities include pro bono legal clinics, virtual and on-ground awareness campaigns on issues such as gender equity, child rights, environmental justice, and public health, along with youth mentorship and community development projects.

Virtual Internship Opportunity (NGO / Social Justice Internship)
Eligibility Criteria
- Current undergraduate or postgraduate students
- Demonstrated interest in human rights, social justice, public policy, or legal aid
- Ability to commit approximately 10–15 hours per week with flexible workload
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Drafting policy briefs and research notes on legal and social issues affecting marginalised communities
- Planning and executing virtual awareness campaigns
- Organising 2–3 neighbourhood outreach visits in the intern’s local area to spread awareness of fundamental rights
