Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- 1 to 3 years of post qualification experience
- Prior exposure to intellectual property and compliance related work is desirable
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Intellectual Property Rights
- Advising on trademark searches, registration, and brand protection
- Handling trademark disputes and coordinating with external counsel
- Advising on copyright protection, registration, licensing, and enforcement
- Drafting and negotiating IP related agreements including licensing and technology transfer agreements
- Managing IP portfolio, commercialization strategies, and IP audits
- Representing the company in IP litigation involving patents, trademarks, and copyrights
- Working closely with R&D, marketing, and business teams to identify and protect new IP
- Conducting internal trainings on IP policies and best practices
Compliance Management (Complinity)
- Ensuring 100 percent compliance across all organizational functions
- Monitoring and following up on statutory compliances through the compliance management tool
- Mapping new legal compliances and coordinating with the Complinity team
Privacy Law and Regulatory Compliance
- Maintaining a repository of applicable privacy and data protection laws
- Tracking regulatory changes and advising internal teams on compliance requirements
- Ensuring organization wide adherence to privacy law obligations
