Type / Nature of Opportunity
Post-Doctoral Fellowship and Academic Position (Assistant Professor of Practice – Practice Track)
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in an allied subject or equivalent professional qualification from a reputed national or international institution or a related field
- PhD is desirable but not mandatory
- In the absence of a PhD, candidates must demonstrate strong domain expertise through substantial experience in teaching, research, or practice in areas such as law, legislative drafting in plain language, arbitration, mediation, litigation, or related fields
- Strong research and academic orientation is essential
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking advanced research at the university in the approved area of specialization
- Teaching a mandatory course or proposing and conducting elective or seminar courses in the area of specialization
- Publishing at least two research papers annually in Web of Science or Scopus indexed journals or a book with a reputed international publisher
- Contributing to the academic and research ecosystem of the university
Mode of Work
Offline, full-time engagement at CNLU, Patna
Important Dates and Timelines
- Duration: Fixed term of two years, extendable by one additional year
- Last Date to Apply: 20 December 2025 by 4:00 PM
Stipend / Perks
- Monthly fellowship of Rs. 90,000
- Fellows are not permitted to hold any other paid appointment during the tenure
- Additional remuneration may be available as per university rules for securing projects or consultancy assignments for the university
