About the Job
TCS is inviting applications for the position of Legal Counsel (Techno Legal with IPR). The role involves handling complex technology and intellectual property related legal matters for a global IT organisation.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. degree is mandatory
- Post Qualification Experience: 4 to 10 years
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology and IP related contracts including:
- Intellectual Property agreements
- Technology and SaaS contracts
- Licensing and research agreements
- IPR provisions in service engagements
- Strong understanding of IPR laws including patents, copyrights, trademarks, domain names, designs, and trade secrets
- Experience in patent search, drafting, and prosecution in India, United States, and Europe
- Ability to understand emerging technologies and advise on related legal implications
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating IP and technology related agreements
- Advising on legal issues related to emerging technologies
- Managing patent related work including search, drafting, and prosecution
- Supporting business teams on IPR strategy and compliance
- Providing techno legal support across service engagements
