About the Organization
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is a statutory authority established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, functioning under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. FSSAI is the apex body responsible for regulating and monitoring food safety standards across the country.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students pursuing a full-time Graduate, Post Graduate, or higher degree from a recognized institution in India or abroad
- Bachelor of Law or Master of Law students
- Applicable only for FSSAI Headquarters
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Attachment with various divisions at FSSAI Headquarters
- Work on assigned projects related to food regulation and food safety administration
- Research and analysis in food and nutrition management processes
- Preparation and submission of project reports and presentations

Location: 3rd and 4th Floor, FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, near Bal Bhawan, New Delhi – 110002
Working Space and Facilities
- Interns must bring their own laptops
- FSSAI will provide working space and internet facilities
- Boarding, lodging, and local travel expenses will not be borne by FSSAI
Duration
- Minimum duration: 2 months
- Maximum duration: 6 months
- Internships are available throughout the year
Stipend / Perks
- Stipend of Rs 10,000 for the entire internship period
- Stipend will be awarded based on attendance, performance evaluation by reporting officers, and assessment of final report by the evaluation committee
- Certificate of Internship upon successful completion
