Corporate Counsel – Legal Job Opportunity
About the Position
Apple’s Corporate Law Group is seeking a dual qualified Corporate Counsel for its Bengaluru office to support Indian legal entities and regional growth initiatives. The role focuses on corporate governance, statutory compliance, intercompany transactions, business expansion and post acquisition integrations. The position also involves managing board and shareholder meetings, MCA and ROC compliances, and supporting key financial functions including tax, treasury and statutory audits in coordination with Apple’s Finance teams.
Eligibility Criteria
• Licensed to practice law in India
• Associate Company Secretary (ACS) with ICSI membership
• LLB or equivalent degree from a premier institution
• Minimum of five years’ experience in corporate law with emphasis on Indian entity structures, governance and statutory reporting
Preferred Qualifications
• In house experience at a multinational technology company or top tier law firm
• Experience in managing subsidiary structures, conducting board/shareholder meetings and handling corporate filings or reorganisations
• Knowledge of FDI norms, FEMA compliance, RBI filings and tax or transfer pricing matters
• Experience in statutory audits and coordination with external auditors
• Strong communication, problem solving and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Exposure to corporate matters in other jurisdictions is an added advantage
