Government Internship Opportunity
Eligibility Criteria
- Open only to women applicants.
- Women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers from non Tier I cities and rural areas may apply.
- Must be enrolled in or associated with a university or academic or non academic institution.
- Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age.
Stipend / Perks
- Monthly stipend of Rs 20,000.
- Reimbursement of travel expenses for joining and returning from the programme (Deluxe or AC bus or 3 Tier AC train).
- Hostel accommodation on a shared basis for the duration of the internship in Delhi.
Duration and Batches
Each internship term is two months long. The Ministry offers four batches per financial year:
- May to June
- August to September
- November to December
- February to March

Up to 20 interns per batch.
Important Dates and Timelines
- Last date to apply for the current cycle: December 10.
- Applications open two months prior to the start of each batch and must be submitted between the first and tenth of the month.

- Candidates once selected cannot apply again for a future term.
