About the Organization
The K. L. Arora Chair in Criminal Law at the National Law University, Delhi was established in 2011 through the initiative of Justice D. P. Wadhwa. It is dedicated to advancing research, teaching, and academic engagement in criminal law. The Chair has been led by noted scholars and practitioners, and is presently headed by Dr. Sidharth Luthra, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India.

Full-time Legal Internship
Eligibility Criteria
- Completion of two years of a five-year LL.B. program or one year of a three-year LL.B. program.
- Preference for students who have completed criminal law coursework.
- Strong academic background with excellent research and writing skills.
- Prior research experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- Preference for applicants residing in Delhi NCR.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Assistance in ongoing research projects under the Chair.
- Engagement in academic and legal research in criminal law.
- Contribution to drafting, analysis, and other research-oriented tasks.
Mode of Work
Offline, on-campus at NLU Delhi.
Important Dates and Timelines
- Duration: Minimum one month, extendable up to two months (December 2025 to January 2026).
