Before the fourth Test at Oval in London, Indian Cricket team was attending the book launch of senior most coach of Indian cricket team, Ravi Shastri, is still a controversial point in India and in England because Indian players were seen without masks in that event. English media have also started blaming Ravi Shastri for the cancellation of fifth test match due to covid positive Indian players.

After few days of BCCI earlier statement that players did not take the prior permission from the board to attend the event, now the Cricketer Dilip Doshi revealed another fact that the players were not following any COVID protocol in the book launching event organised by Ravi Shastri.

Ravi shastri was the subject to severe criticism after this event. But later Ravi shastri denied these allegations and said that he is being blamed without any proper reason. He also claimed that UK Is fully open may be the COVID in players spread through them only.

Dilip Doshi said that the condition of UK can’t be decided by us as it is their personal concern whether to completely open the country or not.  So, it consists of two ways to look into this matter. One is that where you are a responsible team and you are on a mission so you should be careful of COVID protocols and the other is to blame the other nation. He further gave the hint that the IPL could also be the reason for the Old Trafford match to be cancelled.

Mr. Dilip also mentioned that the Indian cricket board was not interested in playing the 5th test because for IPL they will get 15 days quarantine time period which could harm their position in IPL. At the end he mentioned that India is a power house of cricket and we are very proud of it. But it involves various responsibilities for how we carry ourselves with dignity.
